About Us
MyChouchou was born from a love of craftsmanship passed down through generations. In this picture you see my mom (front) and her sister in their fabric shop "My-Loi" in the 1970's in Vietnam. The "My" in MyChouchou comes from the shop name, which means "beauty". Coming from a family of tailors, I wanted to create something better than what I could find in stores: more unique and handmade - not mass-produced and lacking soul. Every scrunchie is crafted by my in France in my home atelier, with carefully chosen fabrics and a passion for detail. Welcome to MyChouchou — where every piece tells a story.
The Inspiration
The idea behind MyChouchou began with my daughter — she never leaves the house without a scrunchie.
But the ones she wore felt boring, poorly made, and often made from synthetic fabrics.
That’s when I decided to create something better: handmade scrunchies just for her.
